For once, meeting lawyers will be free, fun and easy. On Tuesday 14 October, 17.00 – 20.00 h., GMW Advocaten and leading Amsterdam based photo gallery owner Wouter van Leeuwen invite you and a guest to a private viewing of ‘Off Guard’ in the GMW offices at Scheveningseweg 52, The Hague (valet parking). Meet the sacred monsters of the past and present and get a glimpse behind what glamour is all about, whilst enjoying drinks and finger food. ‘Off Guard’ features premium black and white vintage photos of much hated and loved American paparazzo, Ron Galella. Think Robert Redford and Jackie Onassis, think Frank Sinatra and Madonna. Sophia Loren, Jack Nicholson and more VIPs will be off guard, for you to see, in our offices.
Photo prints will be available for purchase, as Wouter van Leeuwen will be attending, looking forward to advise you. Curious? Please r.s.v.p. by email to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . Jackie Onassis once got a court order to keep Ron Galella 25 feet away from her or her children. – Marlon Brando once broke his jaw and knocked out four of his teeth. – Brigitte Bardot once enlisted some friends to soak him with a hose. – Richard Burton’s bodyguards once roughed him up and had him tossed in a Mexican jail. * * Guy Trebay, A paparazzo’s take on celebrity ‘hype’, International herald Tribune, 17 September, 2005 |
