Godelijn Boonman: guestspeaker at "An Expat in Crisis"

Leiden University and At Home in Holland have organized a lecture with the title 'An Expat in Crisis' on the 23rd April 2009 at 19.00h.  

The lecture will highlight the current changes on the employment situation of expats in the Netherlands. Due to the economic financial crisis many companies and institutions  revise their policies towards the internationals they employ and start changing the employment conditions or even discontinue their contracts. Furthermore, the legal and social consequences for expats but also for the Dutch social system will be discussed.

The practical support for this lecture comes, amongst others, from Godelijn Boonman, partner and employment specialist with GMW Advocaten, Den Haag. With the lecture An Expat in Crisis, Leiden University Campus The Hague launches ‘NL in a Nutshell,’ a cultural training course for expats new in the Netherlands. Our Froana Hoff will be a guest speaker and talk about family law matters.
