Dutch Foundation for Trotting and Racing financially independent Again

The task of Christiaan Mensink as administrator of the Dutch Foundation for Trotting and Racing (Stichting Nederlandse Draf- en Rensport) has come to an end. Imposed last year, the moratorium on payments ended on 9 June 2010, without an application for extension being filed. This means that the Foundation is now back on track, taking action and making payments independently.

The sale of the trotting tracks in Wolvega, which will open for the public again after the summer, along with a delay in payments for the remainder of the debt, which has been agreed to with a group of creditors, have re-enabled the Foundation to fully comply with its payment obligations. Once all reorganisation of the Foundation will have been completed, all trotting and racing activities will resume and be improved in the near future.
