Real Estate Law
Real estate law
Buying or selling real estate is often fraught with problems such as concrete decay and concealed damages or breech of contract. GMW Advocaten advises, mediates and litigates in all areas related to real estate law.
Discovering an old oil tank buried in the garden along some concrete decay, after moving in, is disheartening, to say the least. Having negotiated a purchase price and firm terms of delivery, only to find out that the seller is offering ‘your house’ for a higher price to a third party is troublesome, as well. Questions of liability and compensation will soon arise, and you will need a reliable ally in finding a solution to the situation.
Purchase agreement
Disputes in real estate matters are much more common than one would assume. The legal aspects involved are often intricate, calling for expert handling and action. GMW Advocaten will scan deeds, declarations signed in front of a notary and all verbal and written agreements between the parties, also advising on purchase agreement drafts and all other paperwork involved.
