On Friday 11 September 2026, it will be Divorce Day. This day was established by the Association of Family and Inheritance Lawyers Divorce Mediators (vFAS). On Divorce Day, you can visit us for free personal advice.

For whom is Divorce Day?
For anyone who has questions or wants to know more about the legal aspects of their (possible) divorce or the ending of a relationship.
What are the most common topics in a divorce?
There is a lot to consider in a divorce. What is the first step? How can you prepare properly for a divorce? How does a divorce proceed? If there are children, what needs to be arranged for them? And then there are the financial matters: maintenance, what to do with the home, the division or settlement of assets, and prenuptial agreements.
