Laurens Prickartz

Laurens Prickartz is a lawyer and associate partner at GMW. He has broad and in-depth expertise in corporate law, insolvency law, and restructuring.

Since graduating from Maastricht University in 2007, Laurens has been active in the legal profession with a focus on restructuring and insolvency. Over the years, he has built a strong reputation as an advisor and sparring partner for entrepreneurs, directors, and stakeholders dealing with growth, restructuring, financial setbacks, or (impending) insolvency.

His practice includes guiding restructuring processes, handling directors’ liability matters, advising on financing and security issues, drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, and litigating in business disputes.

Appointed by the court as a trustee, Laurens regularly handles bankruptcies. In addition, he is available as a restructuring expert and observer in WHOA proceedings, where he helps businesses reach practical and sustainable solutions under significant time pressure.
