Rosemarie is a lawyer within the Family and Inheritance Law section. She is involved in (international) divorces, access arrangements and issues of custody and maintenance.
Rosemarie also advises and litigates on inheritance law issues. For example, on the division and settlement of an estate and determining the legitimate portion.
Before her time at GMW lawyers, Rosemarie worked as a senior court lawyer at the District Court of The Hague, Family team. Here she supported the judge in the field of (international) family law. As a result, Rosemarie is familiar with the work processes within the court and the working methods of judges.
Rosemarie works resolute and solution-oriented, always keeping the best interests of the child in mind.
As a divorce lawyer, I regularly receive questions from expats during or after their divorce about their desire to move back to their country of origin together with their children.
Every year, child and spousal maintenance is increased by the annual indexation. Today, I will explain more about the indexation of child and spousal maintenance in 2023.
In practice, a frequent question is whether the other parent also has custody. The answer to this question depends in part on when the acknowledgement took place.
