Joris is a lawyer within the corporate and insolvency law practice.
He specialized in private commercial law during his master’s degree, having previously completed bachelors in law and tax law. Joris assists companies during negotiations, collaborations and disputes, both within the company and in business-to-business relations. In particular, he advises and litigates on various types of commercial contracts and corporate disputes.
Joris is analytically strong, thinks in creative solutions and has a pragmatic approach. He knows how to relate the legal content to practice, and keeps an eye on the commercial interests of the client. In this way he knows how to achieve the best solution for them.
Before his time at GMW Advocaten, Joris worked as a paralegal for a tax and legal consultancy firm, and gained experience in the legal profession during several internships.
